Participants' works were displayed across six locations in Chester, allowing different audiences to view them, encouraging people to explore Chester, and bringing audiences together from various places.

- 10th May, Saturday 12:00 - 4.00;
- 11th May, Sunday 1.00- 5.00 (Mass at 2.30-3.00)
- Daily Mass is usually at 12.15, so the church will be open for 30 minutes before and after.
- Wed mornings from about 8.30 and afternoon 1.00 -3.00.
From July 2025, the online archive and gallery will be open after the festival concludes.

- The Chester Photo Festival seeks to celebrate the democratisation of photography as an art, enabling photographers at all levels of experience to innovate through networking and creative engagement with exhibition spaces in Chester.
- We include a variety of non-standard entries, such as installations, videos, projections, objects on display, larger works, or focused small-group projects.
- Only if the work was selected, we asked for a participation fee of £0 to £30 per work to cover some of the exhibition costs.
